Amanda Lemos vs. Virna Jandiroba
LEMOS VS JANDIROBA

Amanda Lemos is without question, the better and more well rounded fighter. But does it matter? Does Amanda's striking matter? If she can't keep the fight on the feet, who cares how good her striking is and thats where I am leaning here. I am feeling like Virna will grind her ass off, the same way she has done in her last few fights. I have to pick Virna here, but this is definitely a steep test and her first 5 round fight. She's affordable at even money, but the best bet here will be over whatever her takedown line is.

Amanda Lemos

Amanda Lemos is a muay thai striker with fast hands and a ton of power. For the most part she does a good job keeping her fights at muay thai range to avoid takedowns. She has plenty of power and solid BJJ but can lose the scrambles and transitions. She is coming off the win over Mackenzie Dern where he dominated the striking and wasn't afraid to get 2 of her own takedowns.

Virna Jandiroba

Virna Jandiroba is a grinder who is solid on the ground. Her striking is just ok but she hits hard and throws with solid volume. She doesn't have much head movement and the stats tell that story as well with her negative striking differential. There are no secrets to her gameplan, throw big heavy punches and look for a takedown. She is 6-3 in the UFC but her losses are solid – they were decent outings against Carla Esparza, Mackenzie Dern and Amanda Ribas. She is coming off the grapple heavy win over Loopy Godinez where the wrestling pressure was incredible.
