I picked Alice to win her last fight and I thought she did. Strikes were about even, she had 2 takedowns and control time. She was not the cleaner, more technical fighter, but she is a dog. I think she can win here too. Constant forward pressure, the threat of takedowns, and a layoff all work in her favor. I am going to slight lean Alice here and I am hoping the lines takes off in the other direction so that I can place a 3.5 bet on Alice. This way even if she gets the wrong end of a close decision, I can still cash.

Alice Ardelean

Alice Ardelean is internet famous. She has millions off followers across multiple platforms. She received a lot of criticism when she was signed, because many felt she got the job for her followers and not her fighting abilities. Style wise she's a busy striker who will mix in a bunch of different techniques. She can be sloppy at times but she's so busy and such a gamer that she has success. She is not afraid of a dog fight and will absolutely chase finishes. While she does have 6 losses, a few of those are quality to Weili Zhang and Diana Belbita. I also feel like she won her last fight against Shauna Bannon which was short notice.

Melissa Martinez

Melissa Martinez is a very powerful striker who can knock anyone out at this weight class. She is an active striker with solid footwork and good enough takedown defense to keep it on her feet. But her grappling isn't only takedown defense, she has solid trip and Uchi Madas off the cage as well. If she does get taken down she does not have much to offer offensively but does has solid submission defense. She is coming back after 2 years away because of a knee injury.
