Alexa Grasso is at a weird point in her career where she is the former world champion, but she quite literally never defended the belt. She won it off a fluke submission in a fight she was losing, then gets a draw in a rematch that many people felt was wrong and then most recently lost because her takedown defense isn't up to snuff. None of that is to say that Alexa isn't a good fighter, because she is, but I do mention that because she may not be who we thought she could've been. she is a very good striker and an opportunistic grappler, but Natalia is going to be too much here. She is fast, clean, accurate and mobile. i think Alexa has a hard time finding her range and Natalia wins a pretty straight forward decision. Natalia is the pick and could be the future of this division.
Alexa Grasso
Alexa Grasso is a fun striker with impressive volume and decent takedown defense at 61%. Alexa stays busy landing almost 5 signifigant strikes per minute and moves really well. She has absolutely no problem slugging it out in the pocket and while she does have power, it is not fight ending power. She is 5-1-1 at 125lbs after moving up from 115 and is looking for her first win since losing the title.
Natalia Silva
Natalia SIlva is a well rounded fighter who is always fun to watch. She has technical striking but will occasionally wing punches from her hips and work in spinning attacks. She does a good job baiting opponents into a striking match before comitting to wrestling. She has solid upper body takedowns and then good control on top. She is insanely powerful for the division and we have seen her not only win by KO but also KO in the 3rd round so we know she carries her power late. She is coming off the decision win over Jessica Andrade where she landed more than double the strikes.
