Adam Fugitt vs. Josh Quinlan
QUINLAN VS FUGITT

This should be the fight where we find out how good Josh is or is not. At one point he was a big prospect but after the USADA issue and a handful of losses, things haven't been going his way. While Fugitt doesn't have a ton of success in the UFC, his losses are quality. I do think this matchup favors Quinlan though. i mentioned earlier when breaking down Tagir that I think we are entering an era where the wrestle first guys are going to struggle and this feels like one of those fights. Quinlan is a dog with powerful strikes and decent takedown defense. I can see him weathering wrestle storm and landing the impactful shots that eventually add up. Let's also not forget that Vegas hates wrestlers. Josh will be the pick but the odds are accurate here at -110 on each side.

Adam Fugitt

Adam Fuggit is a forward pressure wrestler with a very loose boxing style. He bounces on toes with a high guard and then lunges in for takedowns. He is incredibly strong and even when he doesn't have the best takedown entries, he can pick you up and slam you down. Even though he has a high guard, it is not tight and straight punches get through somewhat easily. He is very tough and he's hard to put away, but he does get cracked and dropped. He is coming off the one sided loss to Mike Malott.

Josh Quinlan

Josh Quinlan is a dangerous striker with very real power. He has 2 wins in the UFC and knocked out both of his opponents One of those wins was on the Contender Series which was ruled a no contest because of USADA issues. He isn't just a striker though, he is a BJJ brown belt and actively competes in grappling competitions. He is a very dangerous guy who is on a bit of a skid with his most recent loss being a TKO to Danny Barlow in a dog fight.
