This is a great battle between the two longest guys in the division. There could definitely be some feeling out because both of the guys are used to being much taller and longer than their opponents which won't be the case here. I really want to pick turner here and I have forgiven him for his UFC 300 sins. But Ignacio is nasty and wildly creative. This may end up being a battle of the chins and if thats the case, Ignacio wins. A few books have him as a dog while others have flipped to a favorite, the line is definitely trending in his direction so if you're on the Bahamondes side, bet now.
Jalin Turner
Jalin Turner is a good boxer who comes forward and keeps the fight at range at the exact same time. He is an incredible 6'3 and is one of the few people who uses range well. Even though he is known as a striker, 3 of his last 5 wins are by submission which shows just how well rounded he is. He is coming off the almost win over Renato Moicano where he had him 99% knocked out but instead of sealing the deal, he walked away and had an adrenaline dump that lead to a disastrous second round.
Ignacio Bahamondes
Ignacio Bahamondes is also an insanely tall 6'3 and he typically uses that size and reach well. He is a striker with incredible volume and ok power. He has very good foot work and head movement which protects him from power shots and solid takedown defense at 85%. His takedown offense however sits at a horrendous at 0% where he is 0-5 in the UFC . He is coming off the KO win over Manuel Torres where the length and power were on full display.
