I want to pick Nicolle because of Carrot Cake's takedown defense, but Nicolle's offensive takedowns and very good either. So its a battle between of mediocre takedowns vs mediocre takedown defense which i imagine is a wash. So then we have to look at the striking and I think Ernesta will be the much better striker. She will be just busy, but likely faster and certainly longer. She is not dangerous though so this is likely a back and forth decision where Ernesta gets the nod. Ernesta is the pick, but the round line or a +3.5 may be the way to go.

Ernesta Kareckaite

Ernesta Kareckaite is a solid striker with great foot work, fast hands and solid head movement. She throws punches in combinations instead of one at a time and can dance her way to a win. She does not have a ton of power so typically needs to fight a perfect 15 minute fight. She is long and uses that length well for striking but not as well defending takedowns or working her way up. She is coming off a loss to Dione Barbosa in her UFC debut that many people feel was a robbery.

Nicolle Caliari

Nicolle Caliari is a busy grappler who will take her time striking before closing distance and working you to the cage. Her takedowns are not great, but she does have a very nice clinch and body work where she not only ties you up, but also launches knees and works. When she gets you on the ground she is very aggressive with her transitions. She wastes no time working to side control, mount and other dominant positions. The issue can be that she is too aggressive and and often time loses positions.
