Another Road to the UFC final and another dog pick. I just don't see why Choi is the favorite. He is a low volume striker with the occasional takedown. He bleeds with the slightest bit of contact and can be pushed around. I think Kiru's range will give Choi problems and I think Kiru's ability to do damage everywhere will get him cut up, bloodied and either finished or definitely behind on the judges scorecards. Kiru is the pick and I threw a quarter of a unit on him at +130.
Kiru Sahota
Kiru Sahota is like Dhaslm from Street Fighter. He is crazy long and it looks like he gets longer when he throws strikes. He bounces on his toes and cuts the cage off before planting and head kicks or body kicks. His takedown defense is solid because he does a good enough job staying long and stretching you out so he can balance. He doesn't have a ton of power, but he has solid volume and uses his length well enough to touch you up and do some damage
Dong Hoon Choi
Dong Hoon Choi is a cautious striker with a wide stance and low hands. He can be a bit hittable but is tough enough to survive. He works in takedowns well but can struggle with control. The takedowns work for him because he is very hesitnent on his feet and almost lulls you into comfort and then he will shot a takedown out of nowhere. He is not particularly strong, fast or powerful, but hes tough, has cardio and can start to take over fights late
