Da'Mon is the better fighter here. He has the far better striking, he does a nice job mixing in his wrestling and he should win here. He is however 2-4 in the UFC and doesn't really have the wins to suggest he should be a 3 to 1 favorite. Cody is likely outstruck and then starts shooting sloppy takedowns, but theres no way I am betting on that. Cody is a gamer who can fight anywhere. The pick is Da'Mon, but I am leaving the bets on the table.

Cody Stamann

Cody Stamann is pretty well rounded guy who has been competing in wrestling and boxing since he was a kid. He wrestled at all levels including in college and he started boxing at just 16 years old. He is a good technical striker who sets a nice pace but doesn't necesarily have the raw power to threaten a finish. He averages more than 2 takedowns per fight and has a 76% takedown defense. He is coming off the decision loss to Taylor Lapilus where he had a takedown but also missed 5 others.

Da'Mon Blackshear

Da'Mon Blackshear is an athletic striker with impressive speed and power. He can grapple as well with takedowns in all but one of his UFC fights. He has solid volume in his strikes with technical boxing and clean takedowns. He does have 4 losses in the UFC but all of them are quality The most recent one however was an 18 second KO loss to the insanely powerful Montel Jackson
