Erin is almost a carbon copy of Mackenzie Dern. Very tough, very dangerous on the ground, but absolute dog shit takedowns. This is normally where I would rant about how insane it is to be that good on the ground and have no ability to get it there, but I won't. I will keep this classy. I won't mention the fact that this is your livelihood and maybe you should be training your weakest skillset so you won't look as utterly clueless as you did in your last fight. All class here. Anyway, without the ability to get the fight to the ground, Erin is stuck in a striking match against someone who is a better striker. Rose should absolutely win this fight. 5 rounds only helps rose here and she is not only the pick but I threw a half a unit on her at +100.
Rose Namajunas
Rose Namajunas is the former straw weight champion who is on a nice little run at 125lbs. Rose is a very good fighter everywhere and is definitely the more well rounded fighter in this matchup. She has excellent striking, very good wrestling an solid BJJ. Rose has great footwork and deceiving power. She has wins over Joanna Jedrechek, Teceia Torres, Jessica Andrade and Weili twice. As much as she can be a bit cringy and I find myself always wanting to pick against her, I cannot argue her accomplishments. She is coming off the straight forward win over Tracy Cortez.
Erin Blanchfield
Erin Blanchfield is a nasty grappler. She comes forward, throws punches for a minute and then starts working her grappling. She is still young and still cleaning things up but she is improving quickly and up until her last fight, people were calling her the next champion. She averages around 6 significant strikes per minute and 2 takedowns per fight. She is coming off the one sided loss to Manon Fiorot where she showcased toughness, had lots of pressure, but couldn't get takedowns and didn't have the striking.
