I don't think Aiemann won his last fight. I think his coaches celebrating every tiny strike influenced the judges. With that being said he is a high IQ guy with a high IQ corner fighting a busy striker. If Aimmen was busier and had more pressure, he would be a very tempting dog here. I can already see the comments now though “Pedro lost to Kyler who absolutely sucks”. Which is true, but Kyler had insane cardio in the Pedro fight and we saw what he did to Font early when he still had cardio so while we all hate Kyler Philips right now, I wouldn't be MMA mathing. Aiemann is the pick, but even though he is the dog I can't spend the money. If he just sits on right hands like he did vs. Javid, Pedro will touch him up and steal the fight.
Aiemann Zahabi
Aiemann Zahabi is Fares Zahabi's brother. If you don't know who Faras is, he is the famous coach who worked George St Piere and most recently revitalized Rob Font's career. This means Aiemann has been around top level talent and high level coaching the entirety of his career. Style wise is he is pretty well rounded but more of a striker. He can be low volume at times but we do know he has big power. He has solid takedown defense at 79% and high fight IQ. He is coming off the “win” over Javid Basharat where he showcased his toughness but was basically just sitting on and spamming overhand rights.
Pedro Munhoz
Pedro Munhoz is a volume striker with a non stop pace and incredible leg kicks. He has dangerous BJJ but doesn't look to take it to the ground himself. He has a negative striking differential which is surprising becaus he is landing a very high 5.32 signifigant strikes per minute. He is coming off his second loss in a row, most recently to Kyler Philips where the pace was an issue.
