Abus Magomedov vs. Brunno Ferreira
MAGOMEDOV VS FERREIRA

How bad is Abus? I ask because he had an incredibly quick win in his UFC debut and was rushed to a fight night main event slot where he was finished. Then they gave him another 185 prospect and he was dropped and out struck by a grappler. It's clear Abus has no chin, but does he also suck? Thats what I am struggling with. I am going to pick Brunno here, but I am worried that if Brunno doesn't get an early finish, Abus will take over and win the minutes to squeak out a close decision. These new gloves aren't helping and making it harder and harder to rely on finishes, but I'm riding with Brunno anyway.

Abus Magomedov

Abus Magomedov is a versatile striker with wrestling as a backup plan. He has very sneaky power because it never looks like he's throwing big shots but he can put people down. He is a long striker who does a great job using his length to counter and keep people on the end of his strikes. He will throw everything from tight hooks to head kicks and even though he can be hittable, he recognizes if he is on the wrong end of an exchange and quickly shoots double legs to get it to the ground. He is coming off the bounce back win over Warley Alves where he lived up to the last name and went all in on the wrestling.

Brunno Ferreira

Bruno Ferreira is a very powerful striker who is light on his feet and constantly mixing up his attacks. He bounces on his toes which really helps him come in and out of the pocket well. Even though he is a fast, powerful striker with all finishes, he isn't reckless and can actually be low volume because he is waiting for his spots. He can grapple as well with powerful takedowns and slick, BJJ, but he is definitely a striker and only uses his grappling if he is in trouble or his opponents initiate it. He is coming off the KO win over Dustin Stoltzfus.
