This is a tricky fight because Said is the more technical striker. Santos is probably the more dangerous fighter and has some wrestling. If Santos can move forward, create chaos like Chute Box does so well, then he can sneak this out. But I do think this will be Said staying on the outside, being technical and weathering the storm. Daniel is also the chinnier of the two here. Said is going to be the pick, but low confidence in that.
Said Nurmagomedov
Said Nurmagomedov is not your typical Nurmagomedov. He is a flashy striker who uses his length really well. His range keeps him dangerous both in and out of the pocket. He can literally throw kicks to your head while standing only a few feet in front of you. His striking is versatile and his takedown defense is solid at 66%. He is coming off his 3rd guillotine win in the UFC, this time in under 2 minutes over Muin Gafurov
Daniel Santos
Daniel Santos is an old school Chute Box style striker. He plots forward with very tight hands and when he hits the pocket, he explodes with power and speed. He has solid leg kicks and looks a lot like Charles Oliveira when he fights. He even gets hit, dropped and recovers like nothing happened. He has very good BJJ from bottom, but he can be taken down and even though his BJJ is good, its also old school in that he will play in the guard off his back at times instead of using it to creates scrambles and working back up. He is coming off the win over Johnny Munoz Jr where the striking looked good, the cardio looked good and he wasn't afraid of the ground game.
