This is a tricky fight to pick because Tamires Vidal has a very logic path to victory here with the pressure and wrestling. Joselyne can be taken down and doesn't love pressure. Tamires does both of those well. But Tamires has also been a bit of a bust. Losing to Rendon the way she did was surprising, then coming back just to get KO'd by a BJJ specialist. I am going to have to pick Joselyne here because I think she is the overall better fighter and if she can dance around the outside and light up Vidal's legs that should prevent some of the takedown pressure, but too many landmines here so I will avoid betting it completely.

Joselyne Edwards

Joselyne Edwards is a good kickboxer who uses range well. She has a nice variety of strikes but does prefer to kick. If you can get inside and make it a dirty fight you can have success but getting inside her range isn't the easiest thing to do. The knock on her has been her takedown defense and it did fail her in her last fight. She has offensive takedowns as well but is typically looking to keep fights standing.

Tamires Vidal

Tamires Vidal is a former soccer player and BJJ brown belt who immediately starts working forward and looking for takedowns. She throws typical big overhands and then pressures to the cage where she looks for control and takedowns. Once she gets it to the ground she is chasing submissions. She is dangerous on top and off her back and is always looking for something. Her striking is almost non existent though, but she is tough enough to eat shots while looking for the takedown. She is coming off back to back losses, most recently to Melissa Gatto where she was taken down twice and finished.
