I'm picking Tecia here, but before I do, lets give Karla her flowers. She is an OG in the division and I think the first champion ever. She is also in the elite group of people who were champion, lost their belt and then won it back years later. She didn't lose it and then get it back through a rematch like Valentina just did, she won the belt in 2014, lost it in 2015 and then won it again in 2022. She is an all timer at this weight class and managed to do it with 1 skills, wrestling. Unfortunately she has been gone too long and I don't see her getting the wrestling going, especially at elevation against a cardio machine like Pennington.

Carla Esparza

Carla Esparza is making the walk for her final time. She is an accomplished former champion who will be retiring after this fight. Skill wise she is a very good wrestler that has 45 takedowns in 15 fights. There are zero questions about what her gameplan is going into a fight. Shes short and likes to shoot doubles under jabs and strikes. Her striking isn't great but she does use it well to close the distance and get to grappling range. She is coming off the title loss to Weili Zhang 2 years ago.

Tecia Torres

Tecia Torres, now Tecia Pennington is good everywhere. She has very nice boxing and stays in peoples face. She is a good grappler with good wrestling and insane cardio. Her only loses since 2017 were decisions to the top women on the planet including a sketchy one in her last fight to Tabatha Ricci. She came back after 2 years away looking great with pressure and cardio but did struggle with the size.
