Wonderboy is a tough fight for a lot of people. His range management is frustrating and if you come charging in recklessly, he will make you pay. With that being said, you can out wrestle him and we just saw Buckley outwrestle a pretty good wrestler twice his size. Buckley is going to be the pick here because he can sneak in the wrestling, but don't sleep on Wonderboy. He's 40, but age doesn't matter with his style and we have seen him make a lot of people look stupid on the feet.
Stephen Thompson
Stephen Thompson is one of my favorite fighters. I even bought his hair dye and have it on display in my office. He has that karate style striking that works really well for him. He uses low hands and a wide base to bounce in and out. He comes in, cracks you and then bounces out. He is not a power guy but his footwork and movement are very impressive and can catch people off guard. He has wins over Robert Whittaker, Jorge Masvidal, Johnny Hendricks and Vicente Luque. His only 3 losses in the last 4 years have been to grapplers and did just manage to stuff 4 of Shavkat's takedowns before the inevitable.
Joaquin Buckley
Joaquin Buckley is a powerful striker with plenty of movement. He has good forward pressure and cuts angles well. We all know he has power but he has gotten more comfortable recently not chasing the big KO. He has done well working takedowns into his arsenal and has plenty of cardio. He is coming off the win over over Nursulton Ruziboev where he had a little trouble with the reach but went heavy on the wrestling.
