These are heavyweights and we are likely going to see a big one punch KO. neither guy will be looking for takedowns or even cage control. Jarizinho is going to be the pick because i think he is the more technical fighter. His counter striking is sharp and if Tai comes charging in, he will likely get caught. With that being said, these are heavyweights, Tai his like a truck and 1 punch changes everything. Rozenstruik is the pick but I will wait for the props to drop to see if there is any hidden value
Tai Tuivasa
Tai Tuivasa is a heavy handed striker with solid volume and great low kicks well. He has always been fast and powerful for his size but he is also sharp and composed. Tuivasa has fantastic leg kicks, a piercing jab and a big overhand. His takedown defense is almost non-existent and has zero offensive takedowns in the UFC. You used to be able to argue that Tuivasa's biggest asset was his chin, but that seems to be on its way out with 4 knockdowns in his last 4 fights. He is coming off the submission loss to Marcin Tybura
Jairzinho Rozenstruik
Jairzinho Rozenstruik is a very heavy handed striker. He is a Muay Thai striker by trade but style wise he is more of a counter striker who finds his range when you over commit. Similair to Tai, you know what you are going to get when Jairzinho is in the cage. He has zero takedowns in the UFC and his takedown defense sits at 75%. He is coming off the TKO win over Shamil Gaziev where he was tentative at first, probably because he was waiting for takedowns, but took over with the jab and out struck Gaziev 127 to 22.
