I think Jafel wins here. He's very dangerous, good everywhere and has been far more active. But Jafel only has one single decision win and Allan has never been finished. That is my concern. I need Jafel to be smart with his aggression and punch himself out early. If he had a few more decision wins in his career i would be far more confident but I still think he can get it done here. Jafel is the pick and I am going to keep an eye on the odds. He is +175 and if I can get even better odds, I will.
Allan Nascimento
Allan Nascimento is a fun striker who likes to grapple as well. He doesn't have much to offer in the wrestling department but he has no problem getting into a brawl, getting taken down and working sweeps and submissions from there. The problem is if he can't get those sweeps or create a scramble, he ends up on bottom the whole fight getting pounded on. He has ok power in his hands but a low 26% takedown accuracy and a 16% takedown defense. He is coming off the upset win over Carlos Hernandez where he was fast, landed combinations and was lightyears ahead on the ground.
Jafel Filho
Jafel Filho is a very fast paced guy who will engage in a fire fight or look to work takedowns. He can get wild with his striking but he's fast and throws heat. His takedown defense is solid and he has offensive takedowns of his own as well. He is mostly looking to strike early but if you pressure him he doesn't like it, and will start to grapple. He famously had Muhammad Mokaev's knee facing in the wrong direction last lear. He is coming off the first round submission win Ode Osbourne where Ode literally landed zero strikes.
