This is a rematch from the contender series last season. Their first fight was a draw where one fighter controlled the striking and the other controlled the grappling.

This is a rematch and Stephanie is the favorite. You would think that the first fight was domination by Stephanie for her to be the favorite here, but it wasn't. She definitely had success, especially in the striking, but she was going to lose the fight before squeezing out a 10-8 in the 3rd. Luciano proved that she can defend submissions, proved she can defend takedowns, proved that she has plenty of cardio and proved she doesn't quit. So the pick has to be Luciano but again, she was losing that first fight until Alencar gassed so choose wisely.

Stephanie Luciano

Stephanie Luciano s a busy come forward striker who wants to close the distance, get you to the cage and work you to the ground. If she gets you to the ground she will camp out and rack up control time while staying safe and occasionally working in some elbows. She is not dangerous but she is always moving forward and has plenty of cardio. She is coming off the draw against Talita in 2023

Talita Alencar

Talita Alencar is an accomplished grappler who transitioned to MMA a few years ago. She comes out guns blazing, chasing takedowns and looking to get it to the ground immediately. Once she gets it to the ground she is very busy with her striking and goes there first before looking for a submission. Even though she is a very accomplished grappler, she is mostly looking for control and not chasing submissions. Her takedowns aren't great and she relies on strength to get it to the ground. Her striking is not very good and if she can't get a takedown, she will always be at a disadvantage.
