Danny Barlow is sitting as the 3-1 favorite and that feels wide to me. I do think he wins here and he is the more well rounded MMA fighter, but Nikolay is no joke. He has power, a chin and is not afraid to make fights ugly. Danny Barlow looked great in his last fight but that was against Josh Quinlan who hasn't looked good since USADA popped him. Danny is going to be the pick but these odds are too far gone to consider and depending when you are watching this, i honestly might have switched my pick by fight night so check for an updated video or the website.

Danny Barlow is a rangy striker with very real power. He likes to work at range but will enter the pocket with lead uppercuts and hooks. Even though he has a bunch of early finishes, he does take his time and wait for the shot. He is composed and doesn't headhunt. He has powerful kicks as well and is all around a dangerous guy. He doesn't like getting pressure and when he does he tends to shell up and shoot takedowns, on the ground he has solid BJJ and positioning. He is coming off the 3rd round KO win over Josh Quinlan in his UFC debut.

Nikolay Veretennikov

Nikolay Veretennikov is a powerful and aggressive striker. He plots forward and send everything with power. He will occasionally set things up with low kicks, but for the most part, he comes in, throws big hooks and launches rights. He is durable and has no problem with a dog fight. You can exploit his wrestling holes but even if you take him down, he stays busy and works his way back up. He is rising a 3 fight win streak into his short notice UFC debut
