I think Lupita Godinez has lost more people money as a favorite than any other UFC fighter in history. She continues to look amazing, destroy people, then sneak into a 2-1 favorite slot and make bad decisions only to lose. But if i am looking at skills, she wins this fight. Her takedown defense is spectacular, her striking is very clean and I don't see how Mackenzie wins this fight unless Loopy does some dumb shit – which unfortunately is a very real possibility. But I'm going to ride with Loopy here, she is the better fighter, she's just as tough, she's much faster, more athletic, I'm shooting my shot with a quarter of a unit at +106.

Mackenzie Dern

Mackezie Derm is an amazing grappler who was supposed to be a tremendous prospect for the UFC but has had mixed results. While her grappling remains elite, she has not progressed in the wrestling or the striking. She has a negative striking differential and a horrific 15% takedown accuracy. But she is insanely tough and has no quit in her at all. She is coming off the the decision loss to Amanda Lemos where she miraculously went 1 for 3 in takedown attempts.

Lupita Godinez

Lupita Godinez is a big, strong wrestler with solid striking and clean boxing. She has great setups to both wrestling and striking. She is big for the weightclass and uses her size and strength well to execute her bully style gameplan. She has all the talent in the world and can genuinely beat 90% of the division if she fights to her potential. The problem is she may have some of the worst fight IQ we have ever seen and she is wildly unreliable. She is coming off the decision loss to Virna Jandiroba where her takedown defense looked good early but when she did get taken down she was hanging on to weird submission and accepted her fate.
