Muhammad Naimov vs. Felipe Lima
NAIMOV VS. LIMA

When I saw Naimov had a short notice opponent who is a UFC debut, I was surprised to see the odds were so close. But then you do a bit of tape study and it starts to make sense. Naimov is a big guy who can land power and work in wrestling, but he will be slower here and now as well rounded. I think Felipe's speed and versatility can be a bit of a problem here but I also thing Naimov will be too big to care. Naimov is going to be the pick here because I think short notice matters and then when combined with a size advantage you have a few things working for Naimov. Not sure if i will be moneyline, but I will certainly bet over 1.5 if that is the line they give us.

Muhammad Naimov

Muhammad Naimov is a well rounded guy who prefers to strike, but can wrestle when he needs to and that is going to be key in this matchup. He is a fast, athletic guy with old school martial arts striking. He likes to plot forward and throw in combinations. If he closes the distance, he will clinch up and strike from there. He will actively defend takedowns early but if he's on the wrong side of exchanges he will shoot offensively. He is coming off the injury win over Erik Silva.

Felipe Lima

Felipe is a Bantamweight prospect that is stepping up on short notice to make his UFC debut at Featherweight. He will be a bit small in this fight, but he is a dog and size won't matter. Felipe is a well rounded guy who has creative striking and solid grappling. He will throw spinning jump kicks then shoot doubles that he will pick up over his head before slamming. He does a nice job transitioning between striking and grappling to keep his opponents on their toes. He doesn't have much power but he sets and incredible pace and can break people.
