Jared Gordon is sneaky good and is arguably on a 4 fight win streak. He was beating Bobby Green before the headbutt and he beat Paddy Pimblett in a bad decision. I am still going to pick Nasrat but this could be a close 29-28 type fight. Both of these guys showed power in their last fight, but neither are typically big power strikers. Let's hope we get a 1.5 round line so we can hit the over.
Nasrat Haqparast
Nasrat Haqparast is a solid striker with high volume. He lands almost 6 significant strikes per minute with a very good 78% takedown defense ensuring he can kee the fight where he wants it. When he can push the pace and find a rythym, he is a very hard guy to beat but if you stay busy and stay in his face, like Bobby Green did, you can have success. He is coming off the KO win over Jamie Mullarkey where he knocked the eyebrows clean off his face.
Jared Gordon
Jared Gordon is a good wrestler and like Nasrat, has high volume striking. He likes to come forward in flurries before looking for a takedown. He averages almost 2 takedowns per fight but he can be out grappled with his 40% takedown defense. He is coming off the KO win over Olympic wrestler Mark Madsen.
