Everything in me wants to bet my life savings on Rinat here. I have bet on him several times in the past and have yet to be burned. But both of these guys last performance has me nervous. Rinat was almost finished late in the 3rd round and Dalby surved an absolute mauling just to come back and win by finish. I am still going to pick Rinat because i think the wrestling will be far too much for Dalby, but his durability has me on the fence with bets.

Rinat Fakhretdinov

Rinat Fakhretdinov is a wrestler who throws bombs and is willing to strike. He is constantly pressuring forward, throwing big one twos and then bending over to grab legs and work a takedown. When he gets on top, he pounds away and is looking for a TKO more than a submission. He is coming off the draw with Elizu Zaleski where he dominated the first 2 rounds but was almost finished in the 3rd which forced a draw.

Nicolas Dalby

Nicolas Dalby is a Karate style striker who stays mobile and switches stances. He has a good amount power but he can be hitable himself. He averages more than 1 takedown per fight but he does have a very low 30% takedown accuracy. His striking is ok, his grappling is ok and all in all he is a well rounded guy who will work hard but is not dangerous. He is coming off the TKO win over Gabriel Bonfim where he survived an early onslought to deliver an official fraud check.
