This is the Road to the UFC tournament final and i'll be honest, I don't watch that until its time to do tape study for specific fighters. The tape study here was interesting because it seems pretty clear to me tat even though Long can be sloppy, he is the more well rounded guy and his wrestling will be enough to win. I say it's interesting because he is the underdog. There must be something I am missing, but from what i saw, I am picking Xiao to win and if these odds move, I'll throw something at it.

Long Xaio

Long Xiao is a grappler who isn't particularly dangerous but is very durable as well. He has a wealth of experiance with 34 fights and carries that composure with him. He doesn't panic if things aren't going well and despite his record, things don't go well for him pretty often. He can be taken down, he can be touched up, he can stuggle with guys who pressure forward. He finds ways to win though and takes a “wrestle at all costs” type approach.

Chang Ho Lee

Chang Ho Lee is a well rounded guy who prefers to move forward and strike. He will close distance by literally marching forward and throwing 1-2s. He faints a lot which can get people out of sorts but he likes to come up heavy with overhands or even work in a takedown or two. His takedowns are not great and neither is his takedown defense, but he has solid submission defense and an ok get up game.
