Miguel Baeza coming off 3 losses in a row with the 2 most recent ones being finishes and a full 2 years away but still being the favorite is crazy to me. I get it, Punahele is losing fights that he shouldn't be, he's also getting finished and he is unreliable. But again, both of these dudes are sloppy and getting finished, one of them should not be closing in as a 2-1 favorite. I actually am going to lean Punahele here. Multi year layoffs don't typically bode well plus Punahele has that insane power and D3 wrestling that he probably wont use. Punahele is the pick but leave this fight alone and save your money.
Punahele Soriano
Punahele Soriano is a fluid striker who has tons of power and can put most people out on their feet. He was a D3 all american wrestler who despite his wrestling credentials has been taken down 18 times in 8 UFC fights. He can be first round or bust at times, but he does retain his power later into fights. He is coming off the loss to Dustin Stoltzfus where he was outwrestled and submitted.
Miguel Baeza
Miguel Baeza is a very good technical striker with solid BJJ. He is coming off 3 losses and a 2 year layoff but is still young at only 31. He does a really good job using his kicks to take away his opponents legs and wear down their cardio. He is very tough but he does have some chin issues with his 2 most recent losses being KOs to Paulo Fialho and Khaos Williams
