Are we really picking Tresean Gore in 2026. I get that he won his last fight, i get that he broke the safety parlay in doing so. But i cannot bring myself to say that he is good enough to win here. Vicente is right on the cusp of being washed up, but we just saw that he has life left. He will literally be the better fighter everywhere and as long as his brain doesn't bleed again he should win here. I think Vicente pieces him up on the feet and be the time Tresean looks to wrestle, its too late. Tresean os coming off a great performance, but I Luque isn't a Bekoev.

Vicente Luque

Vincente Luque is pretty good everywhere, he has power in his hands, solid wrestling and fantastic submissions if it gets to the ground. At the end of the day he is a striker and is looking to bang it out on his feet. His 59% takedown defense may seem low but keep in mind he has been fighting the upper echelon of the division for the last 7 years. At one point Vicente was one of the best in the world and while he is certainly on the down swing, we did just see he can win bog fights with his submission over Kelvin Gastelum.

Tresean Gore

Tresean Gore is a heavy handed, come forward wrestler who can't seem to nail down his career. He either wasn't wrestling and was gun shy on his feet or way too aggressive and exposed. Overall he is a decent fighter who can fight everywhere, but is more hammer than nail. He is coming off the incredible underdog win over Azamat Bekoev where he choked him stupid.
