This is a battle of the brothers but its a but of a cris cross. Valter's brother is a worse fighter than Mohammed's but Valter is the better fighter between him and Muhammad. If this was a visual representation, it would be like that 3 line criss cross S that we all drew on our school desks when we were kids. and like that S, Muhammed Usman's career will be wiped away with the first takedown in this fight. Valter should win here, this should be a pretty straight takedown and then complete domination. My only concern is the fact that Valter seems allergic to striking and if Usman does defend a takedown or two, Valter might curl up into a ball and straight up quit. I don't see that happening, i don't think that happens, but after the bad shot and wobble in his last fight, its in the back of the back of my mind.
Valter Walker
Valter Walker is a Brazilian who wrestles like a Russian because he spent a giant portion of his career in Russia where he has been grinding on the wrestling mats. His striking is not very good and he gets hit a ton but he doesn't care, he's looking to lower his level and shoot takedowns. He has become the unofficial heel hook king of the UFC with an insane 3 wins and 3 heel hooks. The most recent was over Kennedy Nzechukwu where he took the worst wrestling shot in history and was wobbled.
Mohammed Usman
Mohammed Usman is not great at fighting, but he is a high level athlete who had college football experience. Style wise he isn't great at any one particular thing, but he is composed and will sit behind behind a jab while methodically working forward. He has very real power but at this point in his career he seems to be showing up for a check. He is coming off the upset win over Hamdy Abdelahwab where he did almost nothing but a few heavy strikes got the nod.
