This is another really tough fight to break down because we really don't know if either one is very good. They both have great records and some flashy wins, but they have also been fighting absolute nobodies. I will categorize this as grappler vs striker with Tommy wanted to bomb on the feet and Alberto desperately wanting to get this to the ground. And while I think the jury is still out on Tommy, I do trust that he is well trained enough to understand this matchup, all he has to do to win is avoid the clinch and avoid the takedowns. Thats it. He is the longer guy, the more dangerous guy on the feet and as we have seen, an absolute psycho. I think it's a lot easier to gameplan and train to not be choked than it is to specifically find a choke. Tommy is the pick, but probably avoiding bets here.

Tommy McMillen

Tommy McMillen is a very exciting fighter who happens to be a psychopath. He is famous for his late rally on DWCS where he was marching forward, screaming and landing whatever he wanted to. He is a long rangy striker who enters the pocket to throw knees. At range he stays very long and streches in with jabs and overhands. He can be shot on because of his wide stance, but he has solid scrambles and takedown defense. He can be a bit hittable but he is very tough and recovers well. He is coming off the KO win in his UFC debut

Alberto Montes

Alberto Montes is a nasty grappler with a nasty Anaconda. He has a bunch of Darce wins as well which if you don't know is essentially the same choke, the only difference is where it starts, I'm either starting at the neck and then adding the arm or starting at the arm and then adding the neck. Either way, dude is nasty on the ground and will specifically hunt for this. His striking is just ok, he throws a ton of kicks and doesn't care if you catch them because he wants to be on the ground anyway. Takedowns are also just ok, but he doesn't need them to find his anaconda. He is definitely a specialist and reminded us of that in his UFC debut where he Anaconda'd Ricky Turcios
