This is a tough fight to pick. Neither guy is great or horrible. Both are decent and very evenly matched. Chang Ho Lee is is definitely the more athletic of the two with the higher potential ceiling. I do think though that Timmy is the tougher of the two and has fought the better slate of competition. Lee's wins are pretty bad and we've been down this road before with a hyped prospect that has wins over as Jacob puts it “regional asians”. Cuamba is going to be the pick but until we have odds I am not sure what, if any value there is here.
Timmy Cuamba
Timothy Cuamba is a striker with good takedown defense, fast hands and decent power for his weight class. He does a great job working the body with an early investment hoping for a late payoff. He's very technical and not gun shy but I wouldn't categorize him as a killer. He has some takedowns but they don't feel comfortable and he really only looks to wrestle if he is in trouble. He is tough as nails and will grind. He is coming off the KO win over Roberto Romero where he wrestler early and showcased his hand speed.
Chang Ho Lee
Chang Ho Lee is a well rounded guy who prefers to move forward and strike. He will close distance by literally marching forward and throwing 1-2s. He faints a lot which can get people out of sorts but he likes to come up heavy with overhands or even work in a takedown or two. His takedowns are solid and he works them in well. His takedown defense however is not very good, but he has solid submission defense and an ok get up game. He is coming off the busy win over Cortavious Romious.
