Guage Young is good, he's not VERY good, but he's good. He's in a weird spot where he can definitely beat some people but will lose to the top half of the roster. And thats what makes this tricky because Thiago Moises doesn't suck and is good everywhere. I saw Guage get outwrestled by Quillan and get out struck by Elder. Thiago can absolutely do both of those things. I am going to pick Guage here though because I love the aggression and even in the Quillan fight, he never accepted being taken. This is likely a very close fight though and one small cut on pale ass Guage's face could literally sway the judges.
Thiago Moises
Thiago Moises is a very slick grappler who does a great job of staying dangerous while being composed. Meaning he is maintaining position but still working towards submissions. Even though he is primarily a grappler who averages more than 1 takedown per fight, he has technical striking and can hang with most people. He uses solid low kicks to set up his takedowns and is surprisingly young given his experience. He is coming off the first round KO loss to Jared Gordon.
Gauge Young
Guage Young is a pretty well rounded prospect. He has solid technical striking and decent wrestling his well. He does a good job managing distance before finding his opening with the wrestling. When he shoots takedowns he does a decent job cutting angles and reshooting if needed. He is hittable, cuts easily and is not particularly powerful, but is busy and well rounded enough to get wins. He is coming off his first UFC win over Maheshate where had 3 takedowns and doubles th strikes.
