I think we have all been doing this long enough to know the deal with McKinney. He is either winning in the first round or not at all. He is very much like Kevin Holland too where he isn't reliable enough as a favorite, but always a solid underdog. This matchup in particular is tempting because I am 100% sure talent wise he is more talented and price wise, he is affordable. The tricky part comes in when you look at Kyle objectively and realize that he has power in his hands and can weather an early storm. Let's hope that Terrance fighting at home is a source of inspiration and a “look at what i turned my life into” moment for him. Terrance is pick based purely off of talent and you know what, I'll throw a half unit on him at -141.

Terrance McKinney

Terrence McKinney is incredibly talented with solid hands, solid wrestling and slolid BJJ. We have said this many times, but if Terrance McKinney had cardio and a chin, he would be undefeated. Because he has every single tool you would want as fighter but he does gas and if he gets cracked, his chin does give out. He is a feast or famine fighter with 25 fights that never saw the third round. He is coming off the first round submission loss to Chris Duncan.

Kyle Nelson

Kyle Nelson is a solid striker with very real power in his hands. He has solid takedown defense and does a really good job using his opponents shots to create a scramble and end up on top. He does a great job making fights ugly and winning with toughness. He is coming off the back and forth win over Matt Frevola where they traded takedowns and he had a knockdown. This was also the fight if you remember that the referee stopped in the first round and then just pretended he didn't and let it continue.
