Lupita Godinez is the 3rd most unreliable fighter on the UFC roster and has proven that she can both beat and lose to any fighter on any day. I'm a big Loopy fan and typically believe in her to get it done. The issue is, she's dumb as hell. She makes terrible decisions in fights and ultimately those decision lead her to an L. She was beating and could've beat Dern, but made a couple dumbass decisions, she was beating and could've beaten Jandiroba but then made a couple dumbass decisions and it may be more of the same here. I can see a fight where Loopy is defending takedowns, getting her hands going and then for no reason whatsoever, deciding to wrestle with the much better wrestler. You just can't trust her. Tatiana is very trustworthy because you know exactly what she will do, but she's insanely one dimensional. if i was positive Loopy wasn't going to be a dope here and could just breakdown the fight based off their skills and not brains, she would be the pick and one of the best dogs on the card. But until i see footage of Loopy at a Kumon tutoring center, the pick has to be Tatiana.
Tatiana Suarez
Tatiana Suarez is a dominant wrestler with decent striking. She averages more than 4 takedowns per fight. She has 8 wins in the UFC and a total 31 takedowns but if she cannot get the takedowns she doesn't have a path to victory. She's married to Patchy Mix and unfortunately fights like his as well but luckily has much better wrestling than most of the division. She is coming off the bounce back win over Amanda Lemos.
Lupita Godinez
Lupita Godinez is a strong wrestler with solid striking and clean boxing. She has great setups to both wrestling and striking. She is technically sound but can also execute her bully style gameplan. She has all the talent in the world and can genuinely beat 90% of the division if she fights to her potential. The problem is she may have some of the worst fight IQ we have ever seen and bowel issues. She is coming off the decision win over Jessica Andrade where she won the striking exchanges but went 1 for 14 in takedown attempts.
