Tatiana is a 4-1 favorite and i don't know how i feel about that. On one hand it makes sense, she is a dominant wrestling force. On the other hand, Amanda has a ridiculous amount of high level experience and many times in the lady fights, experience matters most. Definitely picking Suarez here, but to lay out 4 units to get one back is a tough pill to swallow. I see Tatiana getting the takedowns and potentially a submission from a scramble. Could be a sneaky under 2.5 round bet.
Tatiana Suarez
Tatiana Suarez is a very inactive fighter who has dealt with some very serious injuries but will be fighting for the second time this yea which is the first time that has happened since 2023. She submitted former champions Alexa Grasso and Carla Esparza who have 5 title wins between them. Tatiana is a dominant wrestler with decent striking. She averages almost 5 takedowns per fight. She has 7 wins in the UFC and a total 28 takedowns but did struggle to take down all time great Weili Zhang in her last fight.
Amanda Lemos
Amanda Lemos is a Muay Thai striker with fast hands and a ton of power. For the most part she does a good job keeping her fights at Muay Thai range to avoid takedowns. She has plenty of power and solid BJJ but can lose the scrambles and transitions. She has been at the top of the division for a while now and thats reflected in her slate of competition. She is coming off the bounceback win over Iasmin Lucindo where experience mattered.
