I'm not trying to be rude here, but Shauna Bannon is genuinely one of the worst fighters on the UFC roster. She might literally be the worst BJJ black Belk on the continent of Europe. Sam Hughes took her down and made her look like she was in a trial class. I'm not going to pretend that Nicolle Caliari is some sort of stud or will end up in the rankings any time soon but the reality is she can get the fight to the ground and on the ground she will have a major advantage. I can't even say over 2.5 here because both of these women have finished and been finished, but Nicole is the pick.

Shauna Bannon

Shauna Bannon is a striker with a traditional martial arts background. She is always coming forward and likes to pressure. She doesn't flow smoothly and relies on pressure to have success. She is incredibly tough and seemingly very strong. But she doesn't seem to know who she is, we've seen the weirdo fight style where she was hoping forward on one leg, we've seen her try to be a grappler, we've seen her try to be a distance striker, what we've never seen though, is her be good. She is coming off the submission loss to Sam Hughes where her BJJ Black Belt was revoked.

Nicolle Caliari

Nicolle Caliari is a busy grappler who will take her time striking before closing distance and working you to the cage. Her takedowns are not great, but she does have a very nice clinch and body work where she not only ties you up, but also launches knees and works. When she gets you on the ground she is very aggressive with her transitions. She wastes no time working to side control, mount and other dominant positions. The issue can be that she is too aggressive and and often time loses positions. He is coming off her second UFC loss, this time a KO by Carli Crispy
