I've made a bunch of money picking and betting on Waldo in the past and this is no different. Sergei is obviously very dangerous, but also vert one dimensional. Waldo is 10x the athlete and if he stays mobile and uses all of his tools, like his kicks and takedowns, i would argue this is an easier fight than his last one. So not only is Waldo the pick, I have a moneyline bet on him at +225.

Sergei Pavlovich

Sergei Pavlovich is a beast of a striker. He's mostly a boxer but he has great power in his hands and incredible speed for a heavyweight. His striking volume is impressive and he trusts his chin enough to stand in the pocket and bomb away. Trusting his chin can be a problem in some matchups, as it was against Aspinall, but his speed will keep him one step ahead against most others at heavyweights. He has only been taken down one single time so far in the UFC. He is coming off the decision win over Jairzinho Rozenstruk where he only landed 25 strikes and decided to wrestle.

Waldo Cortes-Acosta

Waldo Cortes-Acosta is a fun athletic striker who is tough as nails with real power. I would normally say that he gets flashy and decides to dance mid fight, but he hasn't done that in a while. He lands an impressive almost 6 significant strikes per minute and has showed us on numerous occasions how physically tough he is. We have seen him out strike and out grapple all but one of his opponents. He is coming off the decision win over Serghei Spivac where he was simply more athletic and the better striker.
