Sergei has only lost 3 fights in the UFC. The first was to Allistair Overeem in 2018, the second was a flash knockout to Tom Aspinall in and interim title fight and the third was to Alexander Volkov where he struggled with the range and a clean jab. Tallison has all the range of Volkov and if he had a better jab, I would care. But he doesn't, he hunts power more than manages range and this is not a fight where Tallision can go strike for strike. I do expect Tallision to wrestle here, but I trust his Sergeis takedown defense and as we saw with the Derrick Lewis fight, don't trust Talilsions chin. This is heavyweight so anything can happen, but I do expect Sergei to get the win.

Sergei Pavlovich

Sergei Pavlovich is a beast of a striker. He's mostly a boxer but he has great power in his hands and incredible speed for a heavyweight. His striking volume is impressive and he trusts his chin enough to stand in the pocket and bomb away. Trusting his chin can be a problem at heavyweight but his speed will keep him one step ahead against most. He has only been taken down one single time so far in the UFC but has worked in his own offensive takedowns.. He is coming off the decision win over Waldo Cortes Acosta where his speed was the difference.

Tallison Teixeira

Tallison Teixeira is a massive guy at 6'8 and he has been running through everyone outside of Derrick Lewis. If you do your tape study and take it at face value, it looks like Tallison is an absolute killer. He is massive, fast and powerful. He is athletic for his size and seems to use it well. If you look at the fights a little closer you will see that he hasn't had the highest level of competition and went to life and death with Tai Tuivasa.
