Nicholas Dalby has officially turned the corner and is now at the age when the UFC will use him to build up prospects. “Oh, we have a young Russian with power and wrestling that we need to showcase? Get Dalby's old ass out there and let him get smashed”. Thats exactly what will happen here. I fully expect Saygid to dominate here. Whether he can KO Dalby or just drown him in wrestling, this will not be a close fight. Saygid is the easy picks.

With one look at the beard you may think you know how Saygid Izagakhmaev fights, and while you will be partially correct, it is important to note that he is a very powerful striker. Of course with all beard and no stache he can wrestle, but what seperates him from the pack is his calm pressure and explosive power. He walks forward methodically while blasting low kicks and looking for openings to throw his straight right. The wrestling is very effective with incredible control and damage on top.

Nicolas Dalby is a Karate style striker who stays mobile and switches stances. He has weirdo breathing techniques but they clearly work because Dalby has fantastic cardio. He has a good amount power as well but he can be hitable himself. He averages more than 1 takedown per fight but he does have a very low 27% takedown accuracy. His striking is ok, his grappling is ok and all in all he is a well rounded guy who will work hard but is not dangerous. He is an absolute dog, but does get dropped with power. He is coming off the KO loss to Randy Brown where espite getting his nose smashed, he dropped Randy shortly after.
