Looks like people are just MMA mathing their way through this. Christian lost to Luke Fernandez and Rodolfo knocked out Luke Fernandez so Rodolfo wins. Honestly thats not the worst math in the world, but I don’t come to that conclusion. Rodolfo is handsome, but he does look for a way out if things aren’t going that well and even though Christian has had a handful of losses, he is a big dude who will engage in the striking if he needs to and then wrestle. After watching Rodolfo put on the show of a lifetime with Jimmy Crute and the nonsense with Paul Craig, I can’t look at him and ignore the slight hint of quit. I think this is a very sloppy fight but Christian has better cardio and if he stays busier could win a close one. Picking Christian here, but it’s a tough call.
Rodolfo Bellato
Rodolfo Bellato is a heavy handed grappler who will come forward, bomb away and stick around for a slugfight, but he is a grappler and ultimately wants these fights on the ground. His takedowns could use some work but once it gets to the ground he has solid control and will chase submissions. He’s a bit of an oaf but can be effective. He is coming off the underdog KO win over Luke Fernandez.
Christian Edwards
Christian Edwards is an oversized ground and pound grappler that really only wants to do one thing. He will entertaining the striking, but not for long. He quickly closes the distance, lowers his level and shoots. What makes him somewhat unique is that even at 6’5 he shoots real takedowns and isn’t just dragging people to the ground with size. He is coming off the split decision loss to Modestas Bukauskas in his UFC debut where he couldn’t get the wrestling going
