Here's a little sneak peak.. BetSam, one of the cappers at WeWantPicks .com has not only picked Robert here, but bet on him and essentially said Julien Leblanc is unatheltic, not UFC caliber and only on this card because he is local. Then he added the commentary that he literally laughed while watching the tape. Now I saw that from BetSam before I did my actual research and breakdown and BetSam right now is basically a savant. He is up like 20 units on the year and has been dialed in. So maybe I saw his breakdown and it is leaking into my own head, but I agree with him. Julien is going through the right motions, but he is not athletic, not strong, not fast, not very dangerous and while I don't Robert is very good, I am also certain every person who beat him would smoke Julien. Not a world where i could bet on Julien here and screw, it i'll ride with BetSam the pick is Robert because of his literal toughness.
Robert Valentin
Robert Valentin is a creative striker who plots forward with low hands and plenty of spinning techniques. He has powerful hands and a willingness to exchange but he is also pretty hittable. He doesn't go to his takedowns often but he does have them in his back pocket. He is very exciting to watch and will look for finishes everywhere. He is coming off his third loss in a row, this time a KO by Ateba Gautier.
Julien Leblanc
Julien Leblanc is a long and lean guy who uses that length. On his feet he will throw long jabs and big kicks and on the ground he throws up triangles and other long limb style techniques. He is not very fast, or powerful but he is tough and busy. He moves forward throwing whatever he can and is always looking for a finish.
