Ricky Simon is getting worse. Literally he looks worse in every single fight. He went from scrappy kid with tons are cardio and potential to a dude who runs forward and windmill punches. Cameron hasn't exactly been reliable, but he's good and he's lost to good people. i think Cameron is the far better striker and controls this fight on the feet. Ricky could wrestle and try to emulate the success that both Ricky and Sirey had against Smotherman, but no way that works for him. Cameron is the pick.
Ricky Turcios
Ricky Turcios is a very fun high pressure fighter. He will throw anything from anywhere and smile while doing it. In half of his UFC fights he landed more than 100 significant strikes and that includes a loss. He doesn't have much to offer outside high volume and high pace because he has a very low 20% takedown accuracy and a 40% takedown defense. He is coming off decision loss to Bernardo Sopaj where he literally just running forward.
Cameron Smotherman
Cameron Smotherman is a patient and accurate striker who will throw in combinations. He isn't particularly busy but he manages striking distance well. His takedown defense is ok, but if he ends up on the ground he doesn't have much to offer. He is coming off the decision loss to Ricky Simon where he was taken down 3 times but made it competitive.
