How good of a wrestler do we think Raul Rosas is? Like obviously in MMA he has a bunch of takedowns, but he has never outwrestled a wrestler before. If you run through his fight history he is fighting a whole bunch of strikers. Taking down Rob Font 100 times doesn’t mean you’re a good wrestler, it just means Rob Font is a shitty one. Now I’m not going to pretend Raul can;’t wrestle, but where i am going with this is that Raoni is a 5x Brazilian national champion wrestler and somehow at 47 years old this dude is putting together an incredible win streak. I am very worried about his age, veery worried about his speed, very worried about his cardio, but I am still going to pick him here. I think Roani is literally the better fighter everywhere and as long as he fights younger than his birth certificate he can absolutely win this fight. Raul panics when he can’t get takedowns and I don’t think he gets takedowns here.

Raul Rosas Jr.

Raul Rosas Jr is a non stop grappler who has showed glimpses of power. He has 34 takedowns in 8 UFC fights with 51 minutes of control time. His striking definitely needs some work as he comes in a little reckless and can get put himself into harms way for no reason. But he is fast, athletic and sets an absolutely relentless pace. He’s only 21 and still improving. He is coming off the one sided grappling win over Rob Font

Raoni Barcelos

Roani Barcelos is aging, but still an incredibly well rounded fighter who can get wins at this level. Striking wise, he has great low leg kicks, solid volume and a great pace. Wrestling wise he is a 5 time Brazilian National Champion who averages more than 2 takedowns per fight and has a 87% takedown defense. He is good everywhere but is definitely slowing down with age. He is coming off the straight forward win over Montel Jackson where he was dropped, but had 6 takedowns
