We are heading into UFC Fight Night Salkiild vs Gamrot, back in the Apex once again. 12 fights in total, a few sloppy fights thrown together, but overall should be an entertaining fight card.

Yadier del Valle
Elkins retirement right, Del valle is a pretty solid prospect overall who just needs to not be taken down here to get a win. I feel like this is a spot where he gets a 2nd round finish, we just will need him to get at least a knockdown and in the 50-60 significant strike range to pay off salary.
Carol Foro
She is the striker of the two, and in a low level WMMA fight, I’m going to side with the more promising striker than someone who is a low level wrestler on the regional scene. I would imagine with this on short notice, she defends a few takedowns and then gets a chance to KO her gassed opponent.
Stephen Asplund
He is the higher volume striker here who will need to not get taken down and submitted. I normally side with the wrestlers in these matchups, but Pat is not very good at wrestling and Asplund can put the pressure on like very few heavyweights. Asplund by TKO is the pick here.

Alexia Thainara
She has 11 takedowns her last 2 fights, and I expect her to dominate Lemos in the same fashion. Give us 5 takedowns and a 2nd round finish here when lemos is exhausted from being controlled and she could be the highest scorer on the slate.
Diego Ferriera
This is more bc Billy Q is very meh, and the 8K range is meh, but in a battle of two old guys I think Diego has more paths to victory and will find a finish. Having the 4 inch reach advantage will help on the feet, and he’s better on the ground, so Diego inside the distance is the pick.
Miles John
Gets a new opponent on 2 days notice who is making their second attempt to get into the UFC and stay. I will take the savvy vet who’s had a full camp and can grind the gas tank en route to a decision where he controls the fight, or a finish when his opponent has nothing left in the tank.

Mateusz Gamrot
Huge step up for Quinlan, and everyone seemingly forgets he was gassed as shit in his 2nd fight and diving for takedowns to control the fight, has been taken down by multiple opponents, and Gamrot is levels above them. I think we see him chain wrestle the fuck or of Salkiild here and find a late round finish when he’s so exhausted he doesn’t fight back.
Jose Montanha
I like Sutherland when he’s a dog, but he is too big a favorite here for a bottom level heavyweight fight. Jose needs to pressure Louie, be offensive in the wrestling and watch out for the crazy leg kicks and he can find a finish.
Richie Miranda
He will need to wrestle early, often, and not let off the gas. Very likely he gets KO’d, but if he can control the pace and where the fight takes place by landing takedowns, he could score very well in a win, or even be optimal in a loss if we don’t have any favorites lose.
