Price Point Picks: UFC London

Best DraftKings Plays for UFC London

We are off to London for UFC Fight Night: Evloev vs Murphy, to decide who will be the next challenger for Volk for the belt at Featherweight. We have a ton of DWCS prospects fighting on this card, so with all the young hungry fighters looking to make a splash I think we should see some fun finishes and guys go for a big finish in front of the home crowd as a lot of these fighters are from the UK.

For anyone who hasn’t read this article before, this series will be released every week on Thursday and will cover the slate by isolating the fighters that I like within the various salary groups. $9,000+ PRICE POINT

Mario Pinto

We have seen Pinto end a fight with a clean counter hook in his debut, and implement wrestling his last fight out en route to a win. He will be 4 inches taller, have a 3 inch reach advantage, and Franco will be looking to grapple as that is his only real path to a win, so I think we will see Pinto catch Franco early and end it.

Mantas Kondratavisius

Trocoli stinks, has awful takedown defense, and we will see Mantas shoot takedowns and control him to make up for the height and reach disadvantage. Trocoli averages under 1.5 significant strikes per minute, give me the young and up and coming prospect here to demolish Antonio.

Iwo Baranieswki

Austen Lane was a chinny heavyweight who was not good, and now he is cutting an extra 45 pounds to light heavyweight and is being fed to the exciting young prospect who in his DWCS fight and UFC debut is averaging 14.3 significant strikes per minute and has 2 KO wins. This should be another, in the first round more than likely, and he will score 100+ DK points.

$8,000 – $8,900 PRICE POINT

Movsar Evloev

He is going to drag Lerone to the ground every single round and spend 5 rounds in control racking up DK points for control time, strikes, and chain wrestling takedowns. I would prefer him to lose because I think he is not a very exciting fighter and I would dread him becoming champ and fighting once every 15 months holding up the division, but 100+ DK points incoming here.

Kurtis Campbell

I don’t think he is really anything overly special, but Silva has about the worst striking defense we have seen in the UFC. I think Campbell will look to wrestle after Silva starts to land some strikes, and that will lead to good DK scoring with takedowns and control time.

Mason Jones

I think this is the fight you need to have one of them in your lineup no matter what. Jones will wrestle, and has shown he will rack up DK points but also has shown he can get hurt which is where the Axel side comes in, as he looks insane and if Mason can almost get KO’d by 40 year old Stephens, then Sola the young dog has a fighting chance here too. I think one of these guys finds a finish.

Under $8,000 PRICE POINT

Nathaniel Wood

He will have to avoid getting knocked the F out on the feet by the big, powerful striker in Keita. I would imagine he will look to initiate some wrestling and try to keep Keita off his feet and on the mat, and while he has him on the mat Wood will look to try and find a finish. 2 rounds of controlling the fight on the mat will more than likely pay off his DK salary.

Louie Sutherland

Both guys are 1 fight into their UFC careers, but Louie got caught with a heel hook by the specialist Walker, and Pericic is coming off a nice win in his debut. I think these guys are a lot closer in levels than their salary indicates on DK, so for that reason I will take a shot on the underdog heavyweight who will look to wrestle if he cannot find success on the feet and can end the fight with one swing.

Roman Dolidze

I get that CLD has looked solid, but how in the hell Roman is 6900? Yes Fluffy rag dolled him, but Fluffy was doing that to almost everyone until he ran into Strickland. Roman should look to wrestle and grapple here, and I think this salary and the betting line are an overreaction to the Roman vs Hernandez fight.
