I've said some horrible things about Oumar Sy. About his country of origin, his skillset, all sorts of things. But I was just crashing out over that fact that be blew the safety parlay when he was fighting a 40 year Alonzo Mennified. While many of the things I said were out of line, they weren't necessarily wrong. Oumar is a freak athlete who can destroy you on the ground, but he's not a killer and he doesn't like to get hit. He should absolutely be able to run through Ion here, but I do worry that Ion is the opposite of Oumar. What he lacks in freak athlete, he makes up for in aggression, determination and a willingness to slug it out. I'm going to pick Oumar here but if he doesn't get hist first takedown attempt, live bet the absolute shit out of Ion.

Oumar Sy

Oumar Sy is an absolute beast. He is a walking highlight real of knockouts, slams and explosive actions. He can strike and grapple, but at this point in his career is most dangerous as a grappler. He has 9 finishes in his 12 wins which highlights his danger, but also means he can win a decision. He has plenty of cardio but can be slow to engage. He is coming off the ground KO win over Brendson Ribeiro

Ion Cutelaba

Ion Cutelaba is a grappler who happens to have very good power in his hands and is happy to fight in a phone booth. He is a feast or famine fighter so he will chase a stoppage and will potentially get stopped doing it. He is good on the ground and racks up tons of takedowns but they can be sloppy body locks that are more muscle than technique. His chin isn't great but he has no problem throwing baseballs. He is coming off the split decision loss to Modestas Bukauskas where he landed more strikes and had more cage control.
