Ode Osbourne vs. Alibi Idiris Pick, Prediction and Bets

OSBOURNE VS IDIRIS

Ode is clearly a very good fighter. Even in the loss to Erceg, he looked absolutely fantastic everywhere except is takedown defense. It's insane to be competing at this level, to be in the UFC this long, to be this close to a ranking and still have dog shit takedown defense. It's nuts. What the hell are you doing in the gym that even after knocking a dude out, you can't defend his takedowns? This is your job, your literal job, and you aren't doing anything to improve on the biggest hole in your game. It's insane to me. The good news for Ode here though is that while Alibi can wrestle, he chooses not to. So as long as he stays that course and doesn't wrestle, Ode should win. But if Idiris has any common sense whatsoever, he will dive at a leg or two. Ode is the pick, but eff betting on him.

Ode Osbourne

Ode Osbourne is a is a southpaw striker who uses range well to keep people at the end of his punches. He has a ton of power and great finishing ability especially at 125lbs. He has 6 wins in the UFC with takedowns in 3 of them and while he may squeak in the occasional offensive takedown, his takedown defense is a problem and is the reason for his last 4 losses. He is coming off the decision loss to Steve Erceg where he had that dude fully KO'd before fumbling the bag.

Alibi Idiris

Alibi Idiris is a proud Kazakstani who fights like one. Very loose on the feet, fast hands, comfortable in all positions. He is so comfortable on his feet that he is non stop-forward pressure, he doesn't worry about anything that comes back his way and spins more times than you would like. He is not afraid to mix it up. He has solid wrestling as well but it is squarely a plan b. He is coming off the submission loss to Joseph Morales in his UFC debut.
