Neither one of these guys are very good right now, but one of them, at one point was solid. Niko Price was a dog. He made up for lack of technical skills with aggression and durability. But those days are gone. Nikolay sucks on the ground, but he is the way better striker and Niko's BJJ seems to be going backwards. i like Nikolay here to control the standup and defend what will end up being desperate takedowns. We don't have odds yet because this is brand new, but keep an eye out on Premium for a bet here.
Niko Price
Niko Price is an incredibly fun fighter who has a willingness to put himself in harms way for the fans. He has solid striking and good submissions. He has two knockout KO off his back which will forever be a highlight reel. He is a blast to watch and in theory can beat anyone with his sheer determination, will and wildness. But he can also lose to anyone on any day because of a lack of skills and slipping chin. He is coming off the submission loss where he was grabbing the fence and flailing about looking for an armbar
Nikolay Veretennikov
Nikolay Veretennikov is a powerful and aggressive striker. He plots forward and send everything with power. He will occasionally set things up with low kicks, but for the most part, he comes in, throws big hooks and launches rights. He is durable and has no problem with a dog fight but he can be taken down. He's coming off the decision loss to Punahele Soriano where he couldn't defend the takedowns.
