As soon as i saw this I picked Chris with confidence. Then I remembered the scorecard chaos from the last fight and rewatched it. While I do think Chris won that fight, that was not the best version of him and even though Nasrat was knocked out cold, he looked good up until he went stiff. So if we get the last version of Chris and the last version of Nasrat (minus the head kick of course) this might be a Nasrat win. He is absolutely the better striker and I don't think Chris will be able to take him down. Chris' path to victory here is to just smother Nasrat and maybe hold him against the cage which is something almost no one has been able to do. I think i need to pick Chris for how durable he is, but Nasrat is the better fighter and if he shakes off that last loss and comes forward, he will establish levels here.
Nasrat Haqparast
Nasrat Haqparast is a solid striker with high volume. He lands more than 6 signifigant strikes per minute with a very good 86% takedown defense. When he can push the pace and find a rythym, he is a very hard guy to beat but if you stay busy and stay in his face you can have success because even though he is landing more than 6 signifigant strike rper minute, he is also being hit with 6. Most recently he was hit with a headkick from Quillan Silkilld that put him out cold.
Chris Padilla
Chris Padilla is a pretty well rounded guy who likes to come forward, briefly strike, move to a clinch and work a takedown. He's not great at anything but he is good at everything and has phenomenal forward pressure. He's very explosive, especially with his takedowns. He has plenty of activity and plenty of cardio and has been a very impressive grinder. He is coming off the wildly confusing draw with Marquel Mederos that was originally announced as win for Chris before Vegas made the call and it was moved to a draw.
