Welcome to the dumbest fight on this card. There will be a Netflix documentary about how this fight even came about. Because the only reason that I can possibly think to A. have both these guys on the roster and B have them actively competing is because of a giant scandal that involved naked photos, drug paraphernalia and maybe getting pissed on by Russian spies. This is absurd. Both of these guys suck. They have never been good. They still aren’t good and should not be fighter in the world’s premier MMA organization. At least Micky seems like a decent human being, SD iDumas is not. He is a terrible person who has not only been accused of hitting women but been convicted of it as well.
But this isn’t a character assessment, it’s a fight breakdown and its a hard one because both of these guys suck. But in my opinion SD sucks more. He’s just not good. He literally doesn’t know what he’s doing and has no problem quitting as soon as he realizes he isn’t winning. Micky hasn’t won a fight in 5 years, but his losses are at least to good fighters and Mickey has actual skills hidden inside there. I am picking Mickey Gall here, but there is no reason whatsoever to do anything with that information. You cannot bet on bum fights for a reason, and this is the reason.
Mickey Gall
Mickey Gall has been in and out of the UFC for 10 years. He keeps losing, getting cut and then waiting around until they re-sign him. This is that moment. He is a pretty good grappler with submissions from both top and off his back. He feels very raw but he has been in the UFC since 2016. I’ve talked about it before but being the UFC that early in his career seems to have stunted his growth as a fighter. He has some raw talent but hasn’t quite evolved the way he would have if he was on the regional scene for a few years. Overall Mickey is tough as hell and can grapple but he hasn’t won since 2021 and most recently has KO’d by Ramiz Brahimaj
Sedriques Dumas
Sedriques Dumas is disaster. His personal life has a rap sheet as long as a CVS receipt. But he’s fighting on this card, so lets break him down… Style wise, he’s ok everywhere and good nowhere. He has ok takedowns, ok kickboxing and uses techniques well. He has an ok chin but will quit if things get tough. He is coming off the submission loss to Jackson Mc’Vey
