Don't let the 4 fight win streak convince you that Kyle Daukaus is good. The reality is that his recent wins are just a reminder that regional MMA and UFC are on very different levels. Kyle Daukaus can smoke part time fighters, but we have seen with our own eyes that wins over UFC talent are harder to come by. I think Michel comes in and beats the brakes off of Kyle. Obviously recently Michel has been a bit of a dud, but losing to Fluffy is ok and being frozen in his last fight seems like an anomly. Michel is the pick and we are getting a discount on him because of those recent performances.
Michel Pereira
Michel Pereira is an absolute beast with insane athleticism, real power and a side chick. Even though he has 43 professional fights, he is only 32 years old and has plenty of career ahead of him. He has powerful hands, solid wrestling, solid BJJ and incredible power. He's good at everything offensively, but is a better hammer than nail. He is coming off the loss to Abus Magomedov where he uncharacteristically did nothing.
Kyle Daukaus
Kyle Daukas is making his long anticipated UFC comeback after 2 years on the regional scene. Style wise he is an ok striker and a very good grappler with solid clinch work and ok boxing. While he is primarily a grappler, he only has a 25% takedown accuracy but an impressive 82% defense. He is very long and can use that well, but is chinny. He is coming off 4 regional wins which earned his return.
