When I do the graphics and do the research, i obvioulsy pull up each fighter and detail out everything. Ages, stats, biometrics, etc.. I don't put nicknames on the graphics but I obviously see them and this time i noticed that for whatever reason, Alexander Hernandez has changed his nickname to “El Gran Chango” which according to google translates to “the great monkey”. I have no idea when or why he did that but we have the Menace taking on El Gran Chango.
Both of these guys are having a bit of a career resurgence as of late but Alex's to me seems to carry more weight. Johnson beat a no longer employed darrious flowers, no longer employed Ottman Azaitar and an uncharacteristically flat Daniel Zellhuber. Michael Johnson is a tough night out for anyone and doesn't seem to be slowing down at 39, but I do think Alexander gets this win. He's a bit of a slow starter so this could be tense at first, but he likely takes over with hsi striking speed and power. Johnson has the footwork and veteran savvy, but the chin is a bit too far gone at this point. Hernandez is the pick
Michael Johnson
Michael Johnson is a tried and tru vet who has fought a long line of former champions and title challengers. Skill wise he is pretty good everywhere, he is a talented striker who doesn't have a ton of power but does have nice footwork. He has a positive striking differential and the occasional takedown. His takedown defense is an impressive 81% and once you factor in the level of opponent he has been fighting, all of these stats are even more impressive. He is coming off the decision win over an uninspired Daniel Zellhuber
Alexander Hernandez
Alexander Hernandez is very well rounded and seems to be hitting his stride recently. He is very explosive with actual skills. He is a solid wrestler and a well rounded athlete. He is a little under sized for the division but he makes up for it with speed, cardio and power. He is on a 4 fight winstreak with back to back KOs, most recently over Diego Ferreira at Noche.
